Pal4Pal is a student-founded nonprofit organization led by passionate young innovators from Lynbrook High School, BASIS Independent Silicon Valley, Troy High School, The Harker School, Los Gatos High School, and Mission San Jose High School. Its mission is to inspire students to develop a deeper interest in mathematics and STEM by providing accessible, high-quality educational opportunities.
Over the past several years, Pal4Pal has organized numerous workshops covering competitive mathematics topics, including AMC 10/12 and AIME preparation. Through these initiatives, the organization has helped students strengthen their mathematical skills while donating program proceeds to financially underserved school districts to support and expand educational opportunities.
This summer, Pal4Pal is shifting its focus from competition mathematics to helping students build confidence and mastery in school mathematics, with a particular emphasis on Precalculus. Recognizing that many students face challenges in foundational math courses that are critical for future success in STEM fields, this program is designed to provide the guidance, practice, and support students need to strengthen their understanding and prepare for advanced coursework.
This 6-week Summer Precalculus Program offers a structured and supportive learning environment featuring:
Two instructor-led lectures each week focused on key precalculus concepts and problem-solving techniques
Two office-hour sessions each week where students can receive individualized help, ask questions, and review challenging topics
A total of 24 lecture hours and 12 office-hour hours throughout the program
Instruction from dedicated student educators with extensive mathematics experience
By combining comprehensive lessons with personalized academic support, this program aims to help students build a strong precalculus foundation, improve classroom performance, and develop greater confidence in mathematics.

This program is independently organized and operated by Pal4Pal, a student-run nonprofit organization. All program planning, curriculum development, instruction, and administration are conducted solely by Pal4Pal and its student leadership team.
