Volunteers play a critical role in creating a professional, welcoming, and memorable experience for student founders, judges, sponsors, families, and guests. Whether you’re interested in event operations, technology, hospitality, media, or participant support, there are opportunities for volunteers of all experience levels.

The Youth Business Venture Challenge (YBVC) brings together ambitious student entrepreneurs to pitch innovative business ideas, receive feedback from experienced judges, and connect with industry professionals. Volunteers are essential to ensuring the event runs smoothly from setup through awards and cleanup.
Volunteers may assist with a variety of event functions, including:
Setup and venue preparation
Registration and attendee check-in
Guest greeting and wayfinding
Crowd flow and visitor support
Awards ceremony coordination
Event cleanup and teardown
Escorting judges and VIP guests
Managing presentation schedules
Supporting student teams
Delivering and collecting score sheets
Assisting with judge deliberations
Presentation and projector support
Microphone and audiovisual assistance
Stage management
Presentation timing and speaker coordination
Food and beverage support
Sponsor and VIP assistance
Networking area management
General guest services
Photography
Videography
Social media coverage
Behind-the-scenes content creation

Volunteer assignments will be based on individual preferences, availability, experience, and event needs. We encourage volunteers to select all roles they would be willing to support.
