
The Silicon Valley Youth Entrepreneurship Program (SVYEP) is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs. The program helps high school students gain real-world experience, develop leadership skills, and explore entrepreneurship through mentorship, internships, networking, and educational opportunities.
SVYEP connects students with startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals throughout Silicon Valley and beyond. Through paid AI internships, speaker events, workshops, networking sessions, and leadership opportunities, members gain valuable exposure to the worlds of business, technology, and innovation.

Membership is open to current and rising high school students. No prior business, entrepreneurship, or competition experience is required. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate an interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, or problem-solving. Students of all experience levels are welcome to participate. Selected applicants may be invited to a brief interview to discuss their interests and goals.
Students may serve in a variety of leadership roles, including:
Treasurer / Finance Officer – Responsible for budgeting, financial planning, sponsorship management, and fundraising initiatives.
Secretary / Communications Officer – Oversees organizational communications, meeting records, member outreach, and promotional efforts.
Event Coordinator – Plans and executes workshops, speaker events, competitions, networking sessions, and other organizational activities.
General Board Member – Supports club operations, outreach initiatives, project development, and organizational growth.
Host the Youth Business Venture Competition
Launch an Online Investor Circle connecting students with mentors, entrepreneurs, and investors
Expand SVYEP programs and chapters to high schools across the United States
Interested students are encouraged to complete the registration form to apply for membership. After registration, SVYEP student leaders will review applications and reach out directly with next steps, membership information, and opportunities to become involved in upcoming programs and events.
