Bring Seven questions like these.

  • I don’t know what I want to major in. How do I figure it out?

You’ll get a few majors that match what you already like, and a way to explore each one.

  • Which activities should I put first?

You’ll get a suggested order based on your actual activities, and you decide the final ranking.

  • My essay is too long. What should I cut?

You’ll see which parts carry your story and which ones you can cut.

Frequently asked

Questions about Seven?

Pick a question. I’ll walk you through the basics.

Is Seven free? What costs extra?

Signing up is free, and no card is needed. With a free account you can chat with me, build your plan, look up colleges, and apply to programs. One-on-one meetings and essay editing are part of 7EDU’s paid services, which are separate from me.

What happens after I sign up?

I’ll ask a few quick questions, like your grade, what you’re into, and colleges you’re curious about. Then I’ll suggest one first step for this week and a few landmarks for the months after. You choose what goes on your plan.

Can you help me find something to join?

Yes—summer programs, competitions, volunteering, and more. Tell me what you’re into, and I can help you explore options and check what they involve. Haven’t found your thing yet? We can start there, too.

What if I don’t like your suggestion?

Say so. “Not my thing” is useful feedback. Tell me what feels off, and we can try a different direction—or make the first step smaller. You get a say in the plan. It’s yours.

What if I want to work with a real person?

7EDU’s team works one-on-one with families on college lists, essays, activities, and more. It’s a separate service from me.
